eMudhra is one of the largest signature and authentication startups in India. The company facilitates digitization of several internal operating systems. The system operates through corporate to achieve full support of Indian projected growth plan. Goods and Service Tax (GST) catalyzed digitization of corporate processes in Indian economy. Recently, eMudhra managed to issue 75% digital signatures in the country. The company also took part in the Web Trust auditing. Currently, the startup is finalizing certification process to allow its operation in other countries besides India. In South Asia, the company intends to explore Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Apart from the Middle East, eMudhra anticipates East Africa region especially Tanzania and Kenya.
According to the chairman of eMudhra, V Srinivasan, the company issued 15million digital signatures. Additionally, the company partner with 100 firms both private and government agencies and serves about 35 million customers. Other recently launched company products comprise of workflow automation, emSigner and a cloud-based automatic. The new products provide solutions to big corporate with voluminous paperwork to improve their productivity. Srinivasan added that alongside integration with Tally, the initiative also assists the companies to issue GST- complaints invoices to their clients. The system thus improves companies’ work efficiency. In addition to international markets, the company also taps blockchain business opportunities. This lucrative investment will be based on the blockchain administration policy by Indian government. The move will require a digital signature for connectivity thus increasing the number of eMudhra customers.
The major companies which have completely adopted eMudhra technology include Amazon, Infosys, and Wipro.
