TechInAfrica – Launched in June by former Primedia Digital and Creative Spark CEO Tanja Lategan, Enlight Strategic has announced an exclusive partnership with Oribi Analytics, a data analytics tool. This has resulted in Enlight Strategic as a representative of Oribi in South Africa. The digital transformation consultancy will receive 10% to 50% of the commission for each product sold, which depends on the size per deal.
Meanwhile, Oribi’s behavioral analytics software, which was founded in 2016 by Israeli entrepreneur Iris Shoor, is tailored for marketers and business owners in need of events tracker, conversions, correlations, and user behavior as a means to help them better understand the performance of their websites and marketing campaigns. As a company competing in the same field with Google, Oribi does more by installing custom Google and Facebook event tracker on the user’s website as ‘Custom Events’, therefore allowing the data from those events to be viewed and integrated into Oribi’s report.
“Given South Africa’s tough economic circumstances, businesses are under more pressure than ever to deliver increased returns at reduced cost. Their best hope of doing so is to embrace digital transformation in their marketing departments. Doing so with the traditionally available tools, however, has generally meant hiring additional expertise. With Oribi, businesses not only have the data they need to embrace this kind of transformation, but also the insights required to turn that data into profit,” Lategan said in an earlier statement.
Recently this year Enlight Strategic received an investment from an undisclosed New York investor of less than a million. According to Lategan, her stake will remain at 40% after a new third shareholder is found. Currently, the business is operating with three fulltime staff followed with several contractors.
