EO launches the Bootcamp to Boardroom entrepreneur programme

The unemployment rate in South Africa rose in Q2 to 34.4% in 2021. According to SA stats, this is the highest recorded rate since the start of the QLFS in 2008. The pandemic might also have fallen to its lowest levels in decades.

The Entrepreneur’s Organisation (EO), an NPO offers peer-to-peer networking opportunities for South African and entrepreneurial opportunities. The EO has 198 chapters spread across 61 countries. Julia Finnis-Bedford the EO Cape Town Chapter President launched a ‘Bootcamp to Boardroom’ initiative aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs navigate the first three-year phase of their businesses. It will be run in collaboration with Luvuyo Rani, the  EO Diversity Chair, and Over the Rainbow Foundation.

Julia Finnis-Bedford, the EO Cape Town Chapter President, expressed passion for “creating transformation and inclusivity within our organization.” The EO Bootcamp to Boardroom offers a 9 month-long programme ideal for entrepreneurs who looks for networks, connections, mentorship, and exposure to the best business leaders across Cape Town.
