TechInAfrica – A Russian tech mogul and billionaire, Eugene Kaspersky, will visit Kigali Rwanda to attend the fifth edition of Transform Africa Summit (TAS). He will be one of the speakers at the event that will take place next month.
Kaspersky is well-known for his antiviral programs. He started the programs back in the early 1990s after he graduated from Higher School of KGB—an education and research institution chartered to prepare Russian Intelligence personnel for the Federal Security Service.
Kaspersky began his interest in computer security back in 1989 when his computer attacked by a virus called Cascade. For your information, the Cascade virus is a prominent computer virus widespread in the 1980s and early 1990s.
He then established Kaspersky Lab in 1997 where he leads the research on antivirus. Today, more than 400 million users use Kaspersky Lab products to protect their computers from viruses.
Transform Africa Summit will take place on May 14th – May 17th, 2019. Kaspersky will attend the event and share his insights on how technology can transform the Internet users’ world.
Through Transform Africa Summit, young Rwandan tech entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to engage with Kaspersky and get to know his insights on how to be successful moguls. This year’s edition will expect around 4,500 delegates from Heads of State and Government and Ministers who represent more than 90 countries. Additionally, the event will also welcome international speakers, opinion leaders, as well as exhibitors.
