FarmRanger Provides Farmers a Platform with Livestock Management and Security

Share

TechInAfrica – FarmRanger, an Agri-Tech startup, combines technology and agricultural devices on its platform to help farmers with their livestock management and security. Through a combination of animal collar and app, farmers can monitor the movement of selected animals.

If there is unusual movement detected, the system will alert farmers or other relevant persons such as the foreman or the neighborhood watch through a missed call from the collar as well as an app notification. The app helps to track the animal in real-time, using the information on the app to detect the animal’s location and prevent it from getting attacked or stolen.
