TechInAfrica – A Kenyan Financial Technology startup, Finserve, has entered a partnership agreement with a UK-based e-commerce platform, goAfrica. The partnership allows Finserve to provide payment solutions for online buying and selling of products through goAfrica platform. In other words, Africa-based buyers will be able to purchase and pay for products located in multiple markets through a fast, secure and convenient process.
The transactions can be made via Finserve’s Jenga Payment Gateway which was launched in 2018. The Payment Gateway enables businessmen to receive e-commerce and m-commerce payments from a host of payment channels like American Express, Diners, JCB, MasterCard, Union Pay, and other card associations from 180 countries, mobile wallets from 7 countries in East and Central Africa, and from FinTech players; Alipay and WeChat.
goAfrica‘s General Manager, Boniface Munywoki, said: “Buyers and sellers can now settle transactions in a fast and secure process. The Jenga Payment Gateway has further taken away the challenges of multi-currency and cross-border settlements that are associated with online trade.”
