Flash and Finca enter strategic partnership to promote greater financial inclusion in the DRC

Flash and Finca have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at offering the Congolese populations solutions that ease their daily lives. The strategic partnership aims to provide financial services and additional value add services on the Flash platform as well as the entire Finca network. Also provided for is Finca deposit and withdrawal services on all Flash agents and customers.

Finca is DRC’s largest microfinance institution offering loans and other financial services to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Flash International is a regulated fintech provider offering an aggregation of value-added financial services such as Visa cards, mobile money, bank transfers, internet packages, mobile recharge credits, tax payments, merchant payment services for over 3 million customers in Central Africa.

The two have entered into the partnership to allow Finca financial transactions on all Flash agencies through 4,000 Flash agents across DRC Congo. It also allows Finca to offer the products offered by Flash on its POS. As a result Flash money transfer services such as MoneyGram, Western Union, TV subscriptions, Flash Cash, internet and mobile top-ups from all operators, and several other services are now available across the Finca branches and all the FINCA Express Full Option points.
