FSAT receives continued support from SEDA, Methys, and the French Embassy of South Africa

FSAT Labs announced their continued support from SEDA, Methys, and the French Embassy of South Africa for the 2020-2021 period. This will boost the incubators coaching intensive incubation program which will help 15 enterpreneurs annually transition from concept to customer phase while arriving at the perfect market fit.

In the past year alone. our startups have earned over R12 million in revenue. This has helped them raise R3 million grant funding. In August this year, FSAT completes its 6th season featuring startups and five others. The startups served 201 customers who make over R2.000,000 in revenue and are focused on one-on-one coaching sessions to derive a personal appeal.

Onebook – Founded by Geber Middel and allows businesses to list their service availability while giving customers a chance to book their appointments.

Kweza – Founded by Bekithemba Ngulube to help Spaza shops make informed buying decisions.

Jamii Life – Founded by Zeenith Ebrahim as a tech-driven home daycare startup.

Kudoti – Founded by Gift Lubele, a leading waste tech digital infrastructure managerial tool.

Vuna CV AppSiviwe Madlebe founded by Siviwe Madlebe to create a free editable CV while searching for jobs on their smartphones. The app runs on an AI search feature.

Waitr – founded by Melvin Musehani to provide queue-based services that improve the workforce.

Zempilo Tech – founded by Leron Hector that developed innovative solutions targeting the healthcare sector.

Rent safe – Founded by Tebogo Tloubatla to offer tenants and landlords peace of mind in the rental process.

A major success story from the 6th programme is Gift Lubele from Kudoti who was awarded the Brics young innovator award. The most successful season 5 startups that progressed well as part of the incubator are, Syked and AgriCool. The 7th season kicked off in October and features 8 promising startups across SA.
