Furnish.NG Specializes in Homeware E-Commerce

Share

Furnish.NG offers both local and diaspora Nigerians an easy access to a variety of homeware and furniture that they will take time to get in showrooms. The e-commerce was launched in April 2016 by a Nigerian by the name Ndianabasi Udonkang. The platform majors mainly in extensive customizations. It’s not a must that one buys what they see, but they are allowed to personalize features like castors, fabric color, seating configuration, leather texture, and wood finishes.

Once the furniture is personalized your design is developed and delivery made at your preferred destination. The platform brings both the customers and carpenters together to ensure that items ordered by customers are developed with specific instructions followed and delivered in good time as well as in safe condition to the owners. The prices at the platform are 50% lower than the prices in the leading showrooms in the country.

Furnish.ng has grown tremendously within a short period since its launch. The company’s revenue has gone high by more than 1,000% compared to the same time in 2016. The platform has received a helping hand from Aso Villa Demo Day Project that is a small bar grand from the Nigerian government despite the fact that Furnish.ng can rely on its revenue for funding.

The support has helped the company to hire a spacious office compared to the one it used to operate on previously. The business was initially working on the founder’s studio. The platform is looking forward to introducing a variety of new products. The part that they aim to expand is the Furnish.ng marketplace which will give people a chance to list and sell furniture, artworks, homeware, décor items, cookware, and crafts.
