Didi Chuxing, the world-leading transportation platform that recently launched in South Africa, is now recruiting partner drivers in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Didi described the entry into Gauteng as a milestone in its growth to several markets.
Drivers and riders receive a R250 sign-up bonus upon completion of 10 trips of the launch week. They also get a R300 bonus on referrals – a figure that can add up to a max of R15,000.
Drivers and partners will have access to new features such as facial recognition, the ability to share a trip with your contacts, SOS button that links both the driver and rider to the police, a safety hotline and a 24/7 safety response support.
The company initially rolled out in Port Elizabeth then Cape Town. Founded in 2012, Didi Chuxing now has an international presence in several continents and over 600 million worldwide users, Didi is looking to further expand its presence in South Africa. The company’s competitors in South Africa are Uber, Bolt, and NextNow.
