MEST Africa has partnered with Young Africa Works to unveil the MEST Express accelerator programme. The initiative targets early-stage startups with the aim of equipping them with the resources and training needed to survive the adverse effects of Covid-19.

Young Africa Works is part of the new strategy adopted by the MasterCard Foundation to guide their engagement and involvement in the continent over the coming decade. The strategy centers on poverty alleviation and tackling youth unemployment.

The programme runs on a 10-week schedule where participants are given training and support that can help them gain traction, boost their market share, connect, and eventually create jobs.

MEST Africa was founded in 2008 to equip the continent’s most promising tech entrepreneurs with the right skills required to launch them on a global scale.
