We covered the launch of Gozem’s super App, and it’s only a couple of months and we have new developments. Gozem aims to leverage the power of its transportation network with the extensive network Delivroum has created with restaurants.

Delivroum was founded in 2018 in Lome, Togo, and was the first food delivery app in the country. The acquisition means Gozem will broaden her delivery offerings throughout Togo by adding meal delivery to the other raft of services it offers such as cooking gas cylinders, groceries, and other items on its platform.

In the short-term, Delivroum’s services will carry on uninterrupted and customers will keep using the app.

According to the press release shared on ITNews Africa, Jean-Martial Moulaud, the Country Manager Gozem Togo said, “This transaction enables us to fast track our food delivery business in the country and we’re thrilled to integrate like-minded young entrepreneurs in our growth journey across Africa.”
