Bothma previously played for Vodacom Bulls and Cell C sharks. He is currently playing for UK based Harlequins. He launched HomeFixer app that keeps users in touch with companies, tradesmen and service providers that participates in the home improvement sector. The free mobile app aims at relieving individuals the pain of household maintenance and renovation. The working of the app has been simplified.
