Max has recently reached the milestone of 100 million kilometers, and in celebration of this achievement, they have established a partnership with Yamaha Nigeria.
Through this partnership, Max will broaden its operations in Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon, bringing it one step closer to its objective of providing services to 100,000 self-employed commercial drivers by the end of 2023.
Independent commercial drivers who use the MAX platform and take advantage of the financing options provided by MBSN will be able to purchase a wide range of vehicles for their companies and put those vehicles to work. As part of the arrangement, drivers will have access to two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers (including electric automobiles), in addition to a wide range of supplemental services, by purchasing a single membership that is quite inexpensive.
When the partnership was announced, MAX CEO and co-founder Adetayo Bamiduro stated: “We are delighted to join the partnership between Yamaha Motor Corporation and MBSN.”It highlights our shared commitment to democratizing access to vehicle subscriptions and enabling businesses across Africa to unleash development by transporting people and products safely and dependably from point A to point B.
With the help of this partnership, MAX will be able to significantly accelerate our efforts toward reaching our objective of supporting hundred thousand independent commercial drivers across Africa by the end of 2023.”
We are thrilled to formally begin MBSN in Africa by kick-starting our activities with MAX,” stated Mr. Shoji Shiraishi, a colleague at Yamaha Global. In several places across the African subcontinent, we will place job opportunities on board trucks and make them available to young people. In the future, we intend to collaborate with other mobility companies. Our ultimate goal is to revolutionize the broader shared mobility space in Nigeria and Africa by bringing the financial and strategic expertise we have gained from our stakeholders.
