The robotics camp held in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali earlier 2018 was amazing. The function brought together all the outstanding innovative students across the country. This was the best opportunity for the competent and creative learners to showcase their brilliant ideas unto the world.

The camp took three weeks in close examination by the senior engineering students from Massachusetts Institute of technology. The event was stable due to the existing private-public partnership aided with the engineering division emanating from the bank of Kigali.

The students had an opportune time to associate versatility of a lego motorized building, together with a highly intuitive drag to drop a software. The intrinsic motivation witnessed during the performance was a major boost to their initial trainers as well as themselves. They did the presentation with vigor and awe.

Skye Thompson from Massachusetts Institute of Technology left her trainer with sounds of best memories and smiles. When contacted to disclose her happiness, she pointed out that most of the students came to the camp without the knowledge of programming. They had never played legos nor had they made robots. The exciting point here is that the students are now able to do their programs and even make their robotics, this was a great improvement.

The Rwandan government has now identified that the road to modernization. It needs individuals who are instant problem solvers. Regis Rugemanshuro, the CEO Bank of Kigali Techouse admired the ongoing proceedings of the event. He also noted that in future, he would be happy to meet students who are robotic engineers.

Besides, the students should install the industries within the country. The students are more objective in life. They identify the field of robotic engineering as the only avenue which can instantly provide solutions to the issues around dwellings. Rwanda is a landlocked country. Therefore the fields of agriculture, technology, engineering are the only solutions to uplift her economic status.
