The InnoEgypt Startup Programme in Egypt

The InnoEgypt startup programme provides training, mentoring, office space and seed funding (EGP250, 000 or US$14,000) to the selected companies. InnoEgypt which is a EuropeAID-funded initiative focusing on sustainable innovation transformation through sensitization of upcoming startups in Egypt.

Applications are in progress for all ambitious startups suffering from market competitions and lack of adequate funds. The programme mainly targets startups from agro-food, construction, and building materials, ICT sector, energy, and water. Other disciplines are handicrafts, garments, recycling, and textiles.

Successful startups will benefit from co-working space, mentorship, networking opportunities, capacity building training workshops and EGP250, 000 (US$14,000) seeding funding award. Additionally, participants will also secure chance to take part in international conferences and exhibition in Europe and the Middle East. The end result of the initiative is the emergence of a sustainable innovation economy in Egypt by improving the existing startups.  The program will also intensify the growth of young business-minded startups in the country.
