TechInAfrica – The Innovation Hub has opened free registration for this year’s edition of the International Association of Science Park (IASP) Africa Division Workshop. The workshop will take place for two days starting tomorrow in Tshwane.
The workshop will bring together professionals, leaders, experts from science and technology parks, areas of innovation, as well as tech incubators, academia, as well as public and private sectors.
Matona Ntshona Sakupwanya, Head of Marketing and Communications at Innovation Hub, said: “The Innovation Hub has been overwhelmed by requests for attendance by entrepreneurs, students, IT professionals and other key stakeholders. However, the challenge was that many of these attendees are young entrepreneurs or students that could not afford the fee, but so desperately want the knowledge and skills the workshop has on offer.
Sakupwanya added, “Through this workshop, The Innovation Hub further strengthens its position in the role it plays in creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the technology and innovation space to thrive.”
The workshop is part of a series of build-up events conducted globally which lead to the mean event, IASP Conference, to be kicked off on September 23 – 29 in Nantes, France.
IASP is a global network of science parks and areas of innovation with more than 388 members in 77 countries from various sectors. They represent seven regional division which includes Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, North America, and West Asia and North Africa.
