This is the first 100% locally made electric charging station for electric vehicles. iSmart was presented on December 21st at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Green and Digital Economy.

The charging stations were developed by research platform Green energy park alongside the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) while receiving support from the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Environment and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy.

Ismart is a new generation intelligent electric charging station for domestic and professional use serving two connectors with 4 versions: mobile, wall, foot, and candelabra. As a product highly adaptable to the Moroccan market, it features technical characteristics adaptable to flexible and efficient use. The capacity ranges from 7 to 22 kw.

Ismart plays a key role in sustainable mobility and a production line will be installed in Benguerir. The expected production capacity of the plant is 5000 terminals annually. To actualize the terminals, subcontracting partnerships will be arrived at with manufacturers specialized in thin sheet machining, plastic injection, laser cutting, and the manufacture of electric cards.
