iStore’s spokesperson said, “Coding is fast becoming the most in-demand skill across all industries. Every app, computer program, and even microwave relies on code in order to operate. Teaching youth how to code ensures that we are prepared for a digital world.”

There are different coding sessions for each day. For learners between 6 – 8 years old, they will have two programs, including Spin Draw and Hello, Byte. On Spin Draw, learners will learn how to code a character to follow their fingers’ movement on the screen (for beginners). Meanwhile, Hello, Byte is for intermediate learners. They will be taught on how to use Apple’s coding language and to swift five simple commands.

For learners between 9 – 13 years old and above, Think Ahead provides five programs, including:

  • Code Machine – Beginners will use swift coding skills to create new parts for the Incredible code machine, learn how computers process code, and write their own code to create cyborg eyes and electric hoola hoops
  • Battleship – Intermediate learners will learn how to code the battleship game using Swift and develop an algorithm to help them hunt down the target and opponent ships
  • Sensor Arcade – Intermediate learners will use the coding app that provides them what they need to create a fun and interactive game in Swift. They will leverage information from an iPad’s microphone and camera to control graphics and move around the scene.
  • Brick Breaker – Advanced coding learners will get to recreate the arcade classic, set up the game board, and customize the game’s rules.
  • Running Maze – Advanced coding learners will be able to write Apple’s algorithms that help learners to escape from any maze in the playground.
