Jawwy TV Mobile App Now Available in Egypt

TechInAfrica – Jawwy TV app, a result of the partnership between Intigral, Telecom Egypt (WE), and TPAY Mobile launched in Egypt. This mobile application is expected to provide a new digital entertainment platform for viewers. Jawwy TV can be accessed exclusively by WE subscribers from the subscription date after having a 30-day free trial. 

Both linear TV and subscription video on demand (SVOD) offerings covered by the Jawwy TV application aim to provide numerous content titles in various genres for its viewers. Jawwy TV app also encompasses more than 50 free-to-air and inscribed channels. 

The Jawwy TV app provides some features such as subtitles and audio options in two languages (Arabic and English), control tools for parents, rewind features for linear TV content, live TV start over options, a recommendation engine, the quality to utilize the app and play the same content on multiple devices at the same time. These features aim to increase the users’ experience in using the application. 

Markus Golder, CEO at Intigral said that both companies are delighted to be a part of the Egyptian market where they can provide a unique and high-quality OTT watching experience for local audiences that will improve their experiences in digital entertainment. He added that Egypt becomes one of the largest markets for OTT in MENA. Hence, they intend to take this opportunity by providing world-class digital entertainment offerings that stand for Saudi quality to audiences beyond the GCC region. 

Jawwy TV app will bring simple integration providing digital entertainment players all-inclusive ability for packing, billing, and multi-channel acquisition approach to new markets and audiences that spread over 80% of the Middle East and Africa (MEA) population.
