TechInAfrica – In the digital world where the internet is widely used by individuals and companies around the globe, cybersecurity has become one of the main priorities. As part of the efforts, the Cyber Security Innovations Conference 2019 will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa under the theme “shift organizational culture to improve cybersecurity, privacy, and business resilience”.

The event is organized by the Knowledge Integration Web (KiWeb), aiming at bringing together CISOs, IT security, risk management, and other IT professionals, to discuss key topics that include cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management.

The event will feature a lineup of acclaim and respected business leaders, including Hein Venter, Professor and Head of Digital Forensic Science at the University of Pretoria. In addition, Yvette Du Toit is also confirmed to attend the event. Du Toit joined EY in London in 2016 which specializes in penetration testing, information security, compliance, and operational risks projects in the UK.
