Jubilee Insurance customers no longer need to walk into their offices or make phone calls for them to access the company’s services. Instead, customers and agents can now use apps to make various transactions, requests, and renewals.

Jubilee Insurance launched JubiCare App for the customers to access policy data anytime they want. Moreover, agents can now sell and service the company’s motor and medical solutions via JubiAgent Motor App and JubiAgent Medical App respectively.

According to Dr. Julius Kipng’etich, Jubilee Insurance’s Regional CEO, he said that the apps help in integrating insurance into their customers’ lives. Besides, he said that most customers prefer accessing services on their mobile phones. Such services consume less time and are efficient. Additionally, Julius said that the app will bring new customers to the company and retain current customers. He also said that the app’s efficiency will boost the digital experience for their customers.

Furthermore, the medical app will enable users to access eHealth records, medical card management services, health facility finder and navigator, and e-wellness feeds.

Moreover, the apps will improve the efficiency of their agents. This is because the agents will access premium calculator, pre-insurance inspection, renewal, and agent management services.

Nizar Juma, the chairman of Jubilee Insurance said that the move showed how the company is committed to advance experience of both customers and agents. Besides, he said that the use of apps will widen the company market. Additionally, he said that if the apps are well integrated into people’s lives will increase insurance uptake in Kenya.

Furthermore, Nizar said that on average, mobile phone users spend 40 hours per month on their apps. By using the new apps to report theft cases or any incident through mobile phones, the users will find the channel convenient. These sentiments were conquered by Patrick Tumbo, the CEO of Jubilee Insurance from Kenya. Patrick also said that the use of these apps will reduce fraud in the insurance industry. He was also optimistic that the new technology will boost their daily operations.

These apps are available on Google Play store for download. The same services can be accessed by dialing *643# for customers without smartphones.
