Jumia Wins the Best E-Commerce Platform at 2018 Digital Impact Awards

TechInAfrica — Jumia, a Pan-African e-commerce company has won an award as the best e-commerce platform at the annual event of Digital Impact Award that took place in Kampala on September 21, 2018. The selection process was through a public voting stage.

The Head Marketing of Jumia, Neville Igasira Iguundura reemphasizes their best service to its customers. He states: “Jumia will stop at nothing to gain the trust of every shopper by implementing best practice across all channels, and by gaining the loyalty of every vendor and supplier with the highest level of professionalism and strategic partnership agreements.”

The annual Digital Impact Award is held to give recognition to organizations in the digital sphere. This year, it is the fifth year and held in Kampala attended by representatives from major brands in Africa. The theme of this year’s event is #IncludeEveryone which focuses on financial inclusion and ‘economy that includes everyone benefits everyone’.
