KAD-DIP 2019 Calls for Entrepreneurs to Join a 6-Month Incubation Program

TechInAfrica – The Click-on Kaduna Digital Entrepreneurship Incubation Program (KAD-DIP) 2019 is currently looking for aspiring entrepreneurs to join its six-month incubation program. The program will provide entrepreneurs with training, mentorship support, and soft skills.

For those who want to participate, you must meet these following criteria:

  • Age between 18 – 40 years old
  • A Kaduna resident during the program
  • Have a business for a minimum of 3 years
  • Must possess entrepreneurship traits such as risk tolerance, self-confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving, persistence, proactiveness, and creativity.
  • Have a business idea with the potential to generate revenue
  • Have basic digital literacy skills
  • Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English

The program runs during the weekend with peer learning during the week. It has two cohorts—men only and women-only tracks—with the same course material and program activities. However, the women-only cohort offers flexibility for women to join specialized activities to build confidence, improve public speaking, and create an open space for women to share challenges.

The program’s training workshops will cover various fundamental topics including Design Thinking, Business Modeling, Customer Acquisition, Growth Hacking and Analytics, Incorporation and Taxation, Soft Skills, as well as Graphic and Web Design Trainings.

During the program, participants will get the opportunity to meet successful entrepreneurs and other industry experts.

The KAD-DIP 2019 is organized by World Bank Rockefeller Foundation and Kaduna State Government. It will be held at the Kaduna ICT Center which is located at 47 Kanta Road of Independence Way. Applicants are not required to pay for the program nor for the application.
