Leapfrog Ventures to Hold a Pitch Competition in Nairobi, Encouraging Kenyan Startups to Participate

TechInAfrica – The Tokyo-based firm, Leapfrog Ventures in partnership with growth Africa will hold a pitch competition this month in Nairobi, Kenya. Seed stage and early stage of local startups are encouraged to participate and win an investment between $30,000 and $150,000.

Leapfrog Ventures was launched by Takuma Terakubo and Samurai Incubate. It gives investment of around $50,000 per deal to early-stage startups in agriculture, healthcare, logistics, energy, and finance.

The investment seeks to fund around 100 seed-stage startups in East Africa in the next three years. Entrepreneurs who are looking for capital to fund their startups, Leapfrog Ventures, Series A Venture Capitalist, and Angel Investors are giving out the opportunity through this competition.

Seed stage or Growth stage startups who want to participate for the pitch competition in front of investors, click here to apply. Only two startups will be selected to pitch at Africa’s Notable Startup Pitch event on July 18th. Meanwhile, those who are not selected can attend the event and network. The winners will get funding ranging from $30,000 to $150,000 of investment.
