Uptime Institute issued out Tier III Constructed Facility certification (TCCF) to Data Centre subsidiary, MDXI of MainOne. This is a significant step to MDXI making it the best Data center in West Africa with the best five certifications in the sector. The certifications are the Tier III Constructed Facility certification, TCCF, the SAP Infrastructure Services license that certifies the Data Center as a requirement for operating SAP infrastructure and applications, the PCI-DSS certification that verifies the Data center to process payment card information, and ISO 27001 and 9001.

Uptime Institute awards the TCCF certification as an evaluation of the concurrency maintainable site infrastructure of a data center based on performance. The TCCF is a progression from Tier Certification of Design Documents (TCDD). It goes past the review of the design of the paper to full on-site testing to get out the discrepancies between design and real installation. Many certifications of MDXI show the compliance to the worldwide accepted standards on high commitment availability towards the security and protection of data assets of the company and its clients. It also offers the assurance of the quality of infrastructure of Data Center and its ability to react to interference due to activities that were not planned for.

The Lekki based 600 track facility of MDXI is the main commercial Data Centre in West Africa. The center was put up to meet the increasingly growing demand for Cloud, Coloration and Managed Housing services across the region. MDXI’s general manager Gbenga Adegbiji said that the certification stamps the company’s investment in vital infrastructure to improve the digital economy of West Africa. He added that the outsourcing of the services of Data Center to the providers like MDXI shows that businesses can adopt increased cost-effective models of using technology to focus more on the development of business and its growth. According to Adegbiji, MDXI is also planning to launch new Tier III data centers in Sagamu, by Q4 of 2018, 2019 in Ghana and 2020 in Cote I’vore.

The president was speaking during the presentation of the TCCF to MDXI.
