Microsoft will announce their software engineer apprenticeship cohort to take place in Nairobi, Kenya through its LEAP apprenticeship program. If you are a software engineer aspiring to upscale your skills, then this is a great opportunity.

What does the program involve?

The Microsoft LEAP apprenticeship program is a 16-week modern engineering apprenticeship program focused on creating a highly inspired and diverse talent pool.

  • 5 weeks of technical and non-technical instructor-led classes and labs
  • 10-week engineering project with a Microsoft production team
  • Visits from top mentors and leads
  • A one-week project fair for showcasing abilities where hiring managers will participate

Who can participate?

Ideal candidates should be Kenyan citizens within the country for the duration of the program (3 months) and must have completed a tertiary degree.
