TechInAfrica – The partnership between Standard Bank and MoneyGram dated back to 2005. Since then, it has given African users access to send and receive money to and from families and relatives abroad.

With the apparent use of the digital ecosystem this year, a significant increase is observed in the digital transactions rate with the service.

MoneyGram is available globally with more than 350,000 outlets and made the digital wallet options for customers without a bank account to deposit their funds to.

Between June to 5 December 2020, customers with a valid and active Standard Bank account are free from transaction fees, while also earning UCount Rewards Points when sending money abroad.
