TechInAfrica – Part of MTN Nigeria plans for the next three years, is a 640b naira (US 1.5b) investment for expanding broadband access in the country.
“Nigeria is one of our most important markets. We have a proud history of partnering with Nigeria and Nigerians to drive faster and more inclusive growth through digital transformation,” MTN Group President and CEO Ralph Mupita said after visiting key stakeholders for three days in Abuja and Lagos.
The 3-year plan is aligned with the federal government’s 2020-2025 National Broadband Plan, and with MTN Group’s belief that everyone deserves the benefit of modern connected life and our work to extend digital and financial inclusion across Africa.
