MTN Nigeria Launches a Music Streaming Platform Service Called MusicTime!

TechInAfrica – MTN Nigeria has launched a music-streaming platform named MusicTime!, served for its customers. The new music streaming platform which is developed in collaboration with Simfy Africa is offering local and international music with the best listening experience users could expect.

On the platform, users can enjoy music the way they want it, regardless of where they are and when they want to listen to it. The launch of the platform is part of MTN’s strategy in achieving digital growth.

Speaking on the launch of MusicTime!, CEO of MTN Nigeria, Mazen Mroue stated:

“MTN Nigeria is proud to launch yet another service that is focused on customer satisfaction and digital inclusion. We know that music is a big part of the Nigerian culture, and in recent times, we have seen talented Nigerians take the world by storm through the fantastic music they create. MusicTime! is a platform that ensures access to these great Nigerian and African music across the world.”

“We are creating the right channels and ecosystems that will help Nigerians create, play and share their boundless creativity with the rest of the world without limitations or barriers,” Mroue added.

MusicTime! is a premium music-streaming platform with broader access to local and international music. To download the app, you can click the link here. You can enjoy the first 60 minutes free on the platform. The app is currently available on Google Play Store.

On the platform, users can stream music they want immediately even without data. The app has no subscription cost as it all is paid according to time spent listening to the music on the platform.

“By providing an avenue for local musicians to stream their music to a global audience while still maintaining a strong local bond, MusicTime! will complement the efforts of the government in the actualization of its local musical content drive,” Mroue concluded.
