MultiChoice has enhanced its digital customer service with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot. The new product is dubbed TUMI “The Ultimate Master of Information” and runs round-the-clock, answering customer queries on products and services.
The chatbot was fully developed in-house to identify customers/user questions while providing valid responses with information related to the respective products and services. Customers can ask TUMI to check balances, clear decoder errors, manage holiday home viewing, make payments or even change packages.
According to MultiChoice CEO Nyiko Shiburi, TUMI was fully developed in Africa and is a manifestation of the company’s “commitment to innovation” while giving its customers “an excellent service experience.”
You can engage TUMI on the DStv website and will feature on MultiChoice’s digital ecosystem, Dstv Now, ShowMax, and Facebook Messenger. TUMI will also onboard new customers on MultiChoice’s online-only service focussed on DStv streaming.
