TechInAfrica – For automotive enthusiasts, international motor shows are a venue in which they can indulge themselves in numerous motoring exhibitions. Not just the model, but various technologies implemented towards the automotive scene will also be exhibited—namely self-driving options, new eco-friendly systems, and many more. Johannesburg International Motor Show (referred also as the Festival of Motoring) is an annual event embodying a fervent collaboration between automotive manufacturers, developers, and even fanatics.

Presented by WesBank, Festival of Motoring is set to return for the fourth time to the nationally-renowned Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 22 to 25 August 2019. The festival which usually runs over three days, has this year added an extra day for the motoring enthusiast’s enjoyment.

Cited from their official site, Festival of Motoring claimed:

“People love cars and this festival caters for those who look at cars for practical purposes, lifestyle and aspirations.  Visitors will experience an interactive showcase of both active and static content including supercars, classic cars and historic and modern motorsport activations. They can also expect to engage with leading industry related aftermarket and accessory companies, who will be exhibiting during the event.”

Motoring enthusiasts, as well as families looking for a fun day out, Festival of Motoring would serve as a framework to provide a mesmerizing motoring experience.

Along with the exhibition of technologies in automotive such as services, management, or equipment, Festival of Motoring will also present demonstrations and launches of new cars. On top of that, there’ll also be supercars on track and an engaging 4 x 4 area. This year’s event is focused on interactive experiences so that both long-time fanatics and newbie greenhorns can enjoy themselves without limitations. Various new models can be driven on the 1.1 km test track.

The vision held by the organizer’s is closely aligned to our own as an organization. This year the partnership has changed from a year-on-year sponsorship, to a three-year commitment.”

Within its dedicated supercar sector, fifty modern road going supercars can be seen both in a dedicated pit area and on track during the three show days.
