F-lane, the first women accelerator in Europe centered on technological women startups to provide them with entrepreneurial skills has organized a seven-week cohort in Berlin.
This program aims at allowing women to participate in the technological development, therefore, empowering women of all generations. Four or five women will have the privilege to join the cohort, and the program will majorly provide four types of support.
The Berlin-based Vodafone Institute intend to empower women with its third cohort set to run for seven weeks. They will teach women on best ventures that will lead to women empowerment globally.
The participants will be advised and obtain personal training from Vodafone experts. The experts will also offer personalized coaching and guide on company roadmaps. Most importantly, they will access financial support of up to US$14,000). Moreover, they will have further access to relevant investors. The program will kick off from March 2018 and applicants can fill the forms online if they wish to join the program. The application deadline will be on 20th December 2017.
Many success stories have been reported from previous cohorts, and various startups received investments. It is reported that the program investments have gone as high as $5.3 million.
Africans have been considered for this program and Vodafone Foundation has appealed for African women to consider this golden opportunity. It is reported that two of five entrepreneurs who attended cohort two were from Africa.
