NITDA Approves Regulation of the NCC on Telecom Companies

TechInAfrica — Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced its approval on the regulation of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) on telecommunications companies, aligns with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

Inuwa Kashifu, the Director-General of NITDA, said in a statement while responding to distribution on ‘New NCC Directive will drive telecoms to disregard the NDPR’ on October 18.
