ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based holding company developed DisruptAD, a platform that unifies all the entity’s venture capital efforts onto a single platform. DisruptAD will partner with Flat6Labs in the launch of Flat6Labs Ignite, an AED 120 million program that supports early-stage companies with funding alongside other benefits such as mentorship and office space.
The new move is part of DisruptAD’s mission to support and develop over 1,000 startups in the next five years while creating a thriving community of fund managers, accelerators, and incubators across Dubai.
Flat6Labs Ignite will run for a three-year period and invest in 20 early-stage startups. Applications for the first cycle will remain up to April 30, 2021, giving participating companies access to seed investment worth AED 550,000, and follow-on funding worth AED 2 million.
