TechInAfrica – The Swedish Embassy has reached out to the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) for a collaboration of capacity building, in a courtesy visit to the Director-General of NOTAP, Dr. DanAzumi Mohammed Ibrahim.

According to Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, Carl Michael Grans, the capacity-building initiative of the Consulate to Nigerians has become necessary to meet up with the fast-changing dynamics of world economies occasioned by technological advancements.

Grans revealed how a few workshops had been held about capacity building for various organizations in the country, such as Nigerian Commission (NCC) with Ericsson assistance, the giant Swedish company.

Ibrahim welcomed the effort, saying that NOTAP will continue to support any foreign company willing to do business in Nigeria within the ambit of the law. He also mentioned the ongoing automation process of its technology transfer registration process, currently at 90%, which when completed will enhance the service delivery.
