PalmPay Celebrates 4 Years with 300 Million Naira Giveaway

Share

Leading Nigerian fintech PalmPay has launched a massive 300 million naira giveaway campaign to celebrate its 4th anniversary. Running from November 1st to November 21st, the exciting initiative rewards users with prizes through various in-app activities.

The event is structured across three engaging phases designed to let PalmPay users win big. In the first phase, users can start a daily diamond hunt in the app for chances to win cash, coupons, and more diamonds. Diamonds give extra entries into the weekly cash prize draws.

The second phase involves completing tasks like airtime top-ups, money transfers, and more to earn additional diamonds and entries. More participation increases users’ shares of the weekly prize pools, with the potential to win extra rewards up to 50,000 naira.

Finally, users can redeem their earned diamonds to enter the tiered weekly cash prize draws. Higher tiers with bigger prizes require more diamonds. Over three weeks, the prize pools total 70 million naira, then 100 million naira, and finally 130 million naira.

At a recent press conference, PalmPay Nigeria Managing Director Chika Nwosu highlighted the campaign’s significance. He stated, “This giveaway demonstrates our commitment to delivering value for our users. On our 4th birthday, we hit milestones like 30 million users, 1.1 million businesses, 600,000 merchants, and 500,000 agents.”

Emphasising the app’s revolutionary impact on digital payments, Nwosu encouraged Nigerians to download PalmPay and enrol in the 21-day promotion.

The giveaway celebrates PalmPay’s monumental growth over four years. Since launching in 2019, the platform has become one of Nigeria’s preferred financial solutions.

The company recently announced 30 million users, doubling since last year. PalmPay’s vast network of 1.1 million businesses and 500,000 agents has driven their national expansion, bringing accessible financial services to millions.

Reports suggest PalmPay may soon participate in Nigeria’s official forex market. When asked about forex plans, CMO Sofia Zab responded that the company aims to tackle these challenges in the coming months through their super app.

With initiatives like the 300 million naira giveaway, PalmPay continues demonstrating its commitment to financial empowerment in Nigeria. The campaign rewards users while also highlighting PalmPay’s impressive growth. As the company marks four years of impact, the giveaway represents its customer-focused approach on the path to further success.
