PAYFORT And FlyEgypt Partnership For New Online Payment Solution

TechInAfrica – On Wednesday (04/09), flyEgypt chose PAYFORT’s online payment services for more payment options to offer to passengers.

Egypt’s hybrid airline has faced challenges on a low-cost carrier. As explained by the CEO, Captain Ihab El Tahtawi, “Beyond the legislative challenges that affect everyone in the industry, the biggest challenge we face is a lack of local and regional understanding of the low-cost carrier/hybrid business model, which is why we chose PAYFORT as our preferred payment service provider.”

With the solution, PAYFORT allows passengers making payments using globally accepted credit or debit cards. For example, Egypt’s national debit card, MEEZA, and Mada, Saudi Arabia’s national debit card can be used by customers upon payments.

FlyEgypt will rely on PAYFORT within the airline industry to the international banks, technology providers and card schemes as the company continues to evolve its business, such as enlarging the scope of available payment channels for online customers, maintaining a simple transaction process.
