ChainEx is a South African crypto exchange offering South Africans a place to buy, sell and trade different cryptocurrencies in exchange for the SA Rand as the default currency. For the month of October, ChainEx will charge the users on its platform no exchange fees. All new registered platform users incur no exchange fees.

Following the release of new features such as an instant trade on deposit feature allowing traders and country residents to access ZAR markets on the exchange, ChainEx saw it wise to reward new platform users.

The decision follows a recent surge in new users present on the local exchange. Michael Bernardt, the Head of community at ChainEX said that of the new users to the platform, “many traders are looking to safely buy and sell altcoins rather than only trade Bitcoin.”

When asked on how the new initiative will work, he pointed out that for the full month of October, users will pay no fees whatsoever on trades amounting to 0.25 BTC in trading volumes. You can check out more of this information at the company website.
