South African innovation catalyst investment platform Innovation Edge calls for early-stage startups and entrepreneurs with innovative edtech ventures applying for grant funding applying for innovative challenges.
Innovation Edge offers an impact-first investor focussing on solving early childhood challenges across South Africa. The organization looks to fund and support edtech ventures that help parents and teachers offer children solid early learning foundations. Innovation Edge is calling for applications from entrepreneurs or startups offering innovative edtech ventures primarily focussed on supporting early learning for children below the ages of 6.
Head of Marketing & Communication at Innovation Edge, Nicole Biondi, points out how we might not have enough resources in our homes or in early learning programmes, in an article on ITWeb.
The application process will run till the 31st of October. Selected applicants are then supported to pitch at the Innovation Edge Investment Committee. The top ventures will receive R1.3 million grant funding, strategic coaching, customized operational support, and connections to social capital.
