South Africa second-hand goods chain Cash Crusaders have built ‘Click and Collect’ eCommerce site to take their retail business online.

Sean Stegmann, the CEO of Cash Crusaders expressed how the Covid-19 pandemic fueled the new development. “As discussed in our recent 702’s Franchising for Future Success webinar, with shopper behaviors changing somewhat, the timing was perfect for us to aggressively embrace our digitization strategy. We started with our WhatsApp Video service back in June and have gone live with our Click & Collect service.”

The new eCommerce platform will showcase both new and used goods and have live real-time features. Once the second-hand item is sold online or in-store, itis immediately removed from the showcase.

Sean goes further to explain how they will identify personal shoppers in all South African stores to ensure a seamless and stress-free online shopping experience.

Online shopping customers checking out will have to specify where they prefer to collect their goods and will have immediate access to your store’s WhatsApp number to enable them to converse with online shoppers.
