South Africa startup Roundr revealed recent backing from Scottish VC i7V which will help it develop past the beta stage and gear for a market entry this 2020. Roundr was founded three years ago by Jansen Myburgh, the founder and CEO.

No precise figures have been disclosed on the actual investment. The real estate app takes the estate’s agents to work on their smart devices while offering an organized easy way to work on scheduled viewings, client interactions, and collaborative sales.

Roundr’s office and enterprise platforms provide real-time informed performance management for agencies and the agents they employ. The business has invested a great deal into the UX aspect of their products.

Future developments

The first half of 2020 has been productive for Roundr with its pre-revenue business getting picked among the top 30 finalists at the Grindstone Accelerator programme.

Roundr is on the verge of securing comprehensive IP protection after the international patent office deemed their concept to the valid. This works well for their future distribution goals. Roundr will team with Ooba Homeloans to launch an industry-first platform in property sales space.
