SA startup wiGroup partners with UK payment firm Yoyo to create global loyalty brand

wiGroup, an SA transactional software startup has teamed up with UK marketing, payments, and loyalty firm Yoyo to create an international company created under the Yoyo brand.

Yoyo is a commerce platform powering loyalty and mobile payments for corporate and education outlets, and high street retail outlets, processing millions of transactions annually.

Through a public statement, the companies share that the rebranded Yoyo will service both new and existing clients from its joint Africa, UK, Europe, and Australasia operations.

The company has raised more primary funding from SaltPay, and is supported by IP Group. Among the companies, the duo has worked with are Vida e caffè, Dunkin Donuts, Kauai, Burger King, and KFC.

wiGroup provides software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based loyalty,  commerce, and reward solutions for leading African retailers and corporations. To date over $700 million transactions have been processed resulting in an integration of  150 000 retail lanes.
