TechInAfrica – Safaricom has released Offline mode and Mini apps for both customers and Busines Super Apps.
The super apps allow customers to use delivery, ticket book, insurance, shopping and many others, and the Mini apps is accessible from the Discover option. For merchants, the hub option will bring them to the mini-apps.
“Smartphones have increasingly become popular as they connect customers to more opportunities empowering them to achieve more at work, in their business, when learning and even for entertainment,” said Peter Ndegwa, CEO – Safaricom.
“In response, we have designed the M-PESA Super App to enhance our customers’ experience every time they use the service, providing them with a simple, fun, secure and convenient digital solution.”
Safaricom is gifting new registered customer with free 500 mb with every 10th registered customer receiving KES 500 sent to their M-PESA account. Meanwhile, customers who are booking SGR tickets with Madaraka Express Mini app will be rewarded with 10% cashback into their account.
