SixThirty is a US-based tech venture fund that primarily focuses on InsureTech, cybersecurity, and FinTech startups.

SixThirty completed a multi-million Rand investment into Cape Town insurTech startup Click2Sure. The iconic part of the new development indicates the first time an African startup caught the eye of a US-based venture fund.

Click2Sure was founded in 2016 by Daniel Guasco, who is also the co-founder. The exact amount of the investment is undisclosed, however, it is estimated to run in the millions of rands.

Digitisation replaces the manual process of filing multiple page-policy documents. Insurers also get an opportunity to market fast and diverse revenue streams.

A customer-centric offering allows customers to purchase insurance via digital channels depending on preferences. It could be mobi/web channels, SMS, WhatsApp, QR Codes, and e-commerce. The aim is to satisfy the customers need for convenience, accessibility and speed.

Click2Sure has also received investment from Greenlight Reinsurance, another investor based in the United States.
