Sendy and Mobility 54 (Toyota Tsusho’s CVC) and  CFAO SAS have participated in a Series A funding of Kamtar International alongside Saviu Ventures a venture capital firm.

Kamtar is a major digital logistics platform in francophone West Africa. Established in 2018, the company directly connects consignors of goods to logistics operators. The goods consignors are such as consumer goods manufacturers, construction companies, commerce operators, and others. Thus far, over 5000 operators are registered on this platform.

Kamtar’s platform enables efficient delivery operations and cost reductions by eliminating intermediaries and negotiations arising from the delivery services. This in turn improves transparency and reliability which posed a huge challenge for West Africa’s logistics sector.

Kamtar currently operates in Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal and plans to expand to other countries in 2022 partnering with Sendy and Mobility 54.

Sendy is working towards becoming a pan African logistics platform hence the partnership with logistic players such as Kamtar. Here Sendy leverages its deep tech expertise and larger range of services to reinforce Kamtar’s operations and scaling across West Africa.  CFAO Group’s participation through Mobility 54 is committed to supporting Sendy’s Pan-Africa expansion and Kamtar’s product development both financially and operationally.
