Zoho, a multinational technology firm that provides the most comprehensive business software suite, is planning to create an office in Nigeria in July. At this location, the company intends to hire more Nigerians for roles that include direct interaction with customers.

Additionally, the company, which expanded its operations in Nigeria by 74% during the previous year, introduced the Zoho Africa Digital Enabler (ZADE) package there to assist small businesses in the direction of digitalization.

The Zoho office in Lekki, Lagos, will be the third Zoho office in Africa, after the ones in Cape Town, South Africa and Cairo, Egypt.

During the company’s first user conference in Nigeria, which was titled Zoholics Nigeria and took place at Four Points by Sheraton in Lekki, Lagos, the plan to open an office in Nigeria as well as launch the ZADE package for Nigerian Small and Medium Enterprises was disclosed. Both of these initiatives are scheduled to take place shortly.

The President of Zoho MEA, Hyther Nizam, discussed the plans at the conference. He said, “As part of our “transnational localism” strategy, in which our growth is tied to that of the area, we provide our global expertise to help build self-sufficient economic clusters.

We began by making our products available at prices that were appropriate for the local market. We began recruiting locally, and now we are opening an office in this location to better serve our expanding customer base. At the same time, we are working on expanding our partner network within the country. In addition to this, We developed the Zoho Africa Digital Enabler package to provide micro and small enterprises with a transition to digital transformation.

The ZADE package is designed to assist small businesses in Africa with as few as five employees in getting their digital transformations off the ground. According to Nizam, the bundle would offer new Zoho users a collection of ten of the company’s most popular applications at a discount of fifty per cent beginning on July 1, 2022, and continuing for three months.

Nizam made the following statement about the Zoho Workplace: “Zoho Workplace is a holistic platform that brings together productivity, collaboration, communication technologies and integrates them into other corporate operations.”Zoho Workplace is a set of eight apps that are tightly integrated. These apps are centred around Zoho’s secure business email (Zoho Mail), an online office suite (Zoho Writer,  Zoho Sheet, Zoho Show, and Zoho, WorkDrive), team chat (Zoho Cliq).Hybrid teams can use these apps to get work done and easily collaborate.

The platform also features a corporate townhall (Zoho Connect), video conferencing (Zoho Meeting), an AI-based search (Zia Search), and other administrative and security tools, which enables enterprises to interact and work successfully in a hybrid environment. Zoho Workplace is by far the most popular product offered by Zoho in Nigeria.
