Smart Agritech SupPlant Closed $10m

TechInAfrica – Led by the private equity firm Boresight Capital, social impact fund Menomadin Foundation, Israel-listed Smart-Agro Fund, and Israel-based investment firm Mivtah Shamir, funding with SupPlant, an agricultural business based in South Africa, successfully secured $10m in the round.

SupPlant is an agritech company that uses AI and cloud-based technology to care for the plant. It can detect the plant’s stress level, tracking water content, and find the pattern of growth in plants and fruit. All of these parameters can be tracked in real-time.
