Amazon announced the re-launch of Souq.com as a dedicated online store of Egyptian customers. The website will feature millions of items both local and international brands spread across several categories i.e apparel, electronics, grocery, home and kitchen, and other Amazon products and devices.
All existing customer credentials, orders, wish lists, payment methods, delivery addresses, and customer support queries on Souq.com will seamlessly transition to Amazon accounts. New customers from souq.com or Amazon residing out of Egypt can still shop on Amazon.eg for delivery in Egypt by using the mobile app and picking Egypt on the settings.
One can also access www.amazon.eg on their mobile browser or on a desktop. Both the app and website offer a rich browsing experience in either English or Arabic, as well as accurate search results, personalized recommendations, trusted product reviews, and simple order management backed by award-winning customer service.
Shoppers can pay in Egyptian Pounds through debit, credit, and pre-paid cards (both Visa and Mastercard). There is also a Cash-on-Delivery option. Purchases above EGP350 get free delivery with Same-Day or Next-Day delivery options only available in select cities.
