Mobiz, a South African industry-leading SaaS mobile marketing platform has raised a $4 million pre-series A round. The investment was led by HAVAÍC and Futuregrowth Asset Management and drew participation from Allan Gray E-Squared Ventures, Launch Africa, CapaciTech, and Endeavor’s Harvest Fund. The funding will allow Mobiz to deliver its self-service product to the United States.

In April, Baobab Insights identified Mobiz as one of the top marketing startup to watch. The SA startup has also taken part in the silicon valley B2B accelerator, The Alchemist Accelerator. Said Greg Chen is the founder and CEO at Mobiz.

Mobiz has partnered with top brands such as Hisense, Experian, MultiChoice, and New Balance in its home market, helping in the implementation of high-impact, highly personalized, and scaled mobile marketing programs.

Mobiz builds customer relationships with personalized landing pages delivered through SMS marketing. Businesses can leverage their first-party customer data while dynamically displaying highly relevant content such as product recommendations, unique discounts and deals for customers, and billing. This dynamic and instant customization improves the conversion, overall results, sales, and rates of engagement.
